  1. Add NullDC to the list. CP shows on game load, than fades out after a minute or so. Press shift-space and "GameEx has stopped working"... Kega Fusion also - weirdly this time, it's when I pressed a mapped F key (Shift+F12) > "Game Ex has stopped working." Again, tested without plugin and worked OK. Feel like I'm badgering, but really just to keep you posted on testing.
  2. Interested in this. I know few schools of thought on this - some like to preserve original appearances, but I'm a fan of renovating the old to look like new. Feels like a new game then. Love seeing PS2/Gamecube/PSP games in full HD. However, never really fiddled with the actual GPU settings. Does this 'break' any games in MAME? Quite a high spec GPU in mine with 2G mem, so would hope it could handle any demand. Be interested in peoples' experiences,
  3. tbh, if it's the one on the left you're talking about, I'd just replace that front with some new wood. Looks like it deserves retirement!
  4. No cigar! Still same probs in VirtJag and Desmume. Have isolated to GameInfo plugin. No probs in these emulators with GameInfo diabled + combos of AHK script, GameExtender and GameEx All the crashes seem to center around the CP display - that is either when there's a change in it (e.g. fade out) or when user button press. Crashes vary from GameEx stopping working to the GameInfo just disappearing and various others. Hmmmm... how frustrating. Tried various settings changes - for e.g. changing Extender viewer settings etc. Anything I can do to help isolate this bug? Don't think my logs will look any different from last time, but can post anything needed. Cheers for having a look last night though!
  5. I doubt it is Adultery and sorry to raise it! You shouldn't make your plugins so good where they become a necessity to use thanks
  6. Hmm. When I disabled GameViewer - shift and space did nothing (i.e. - no CP) Funny things afoot, but most consistent crashes are within VirtualJaguar and Desmume (haven't tested all my emulators). Both have same error: - CP automatically displays on start up - CP then fades after 10 seconds or so - GameEx + GameINfo crash either if left to own devices (no Shift+Space) or when you press shift and space. On the escape issue - possibly emulator specific - think most working, apart from VirtualJag - works as expected in windowed, but have to 'double click' Ctrl+Q to quit in fullscreen (I really am asking myself whether the Jag games are worth it! - been most thorny system to set up so far) Vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6eFI7MUKpQ&feature=youtu.be And vid of nintendoDS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNFnNpAUfGY&feature=youtu.be I have tested these emus without GameInfo enabled in plugin manager + there's no crashes. GameINfo log here: I must say I'm really NOT loving the world of mapping arcade controls to emulators!! Thought it'd be a day job, but rolling on for 2 weeks now! cheers
  7. Thanks chap. Really appreciate your ongoing help. OK - forced cash again via pressing shift and space a few times on the keyboard. Here's a screenie of the GameEx crash: Also, link to the file in the MS error message: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15144043/site%20posts/GAMEEX/WERE701.tmp.mdmp Finally the GameInfo log: Also tried disable game info viewer - couldn't bring up controls at all with shift and space. I'm assuming yuou mean this option?: thanks again
  8. Great update, but getting some weird things happening now which weren't before. Before had games launching from GE fine, and different AHK scripts mapping cab buttons to emulator functions. Had various errors since update: - GameEx crashing when pressing shift and space - Esc key not working well in other emulators for global close think this is happening on both mapped buttons but also keyboard. Hard to be specific, as lots of erros feel quite random + hit and miss! Sorry - know that's not helpful! Anywhoos - have you made any major changes to the way GameInfo 'gets' or monitors key strokes? Could be one of a thousand things at the moment, but think main last thing I changed was GameInfo. Thanks (Couldn't see anything in log file either - apart from a weird error around quicklaunch - maybe this is just a really bad day!!) Log File (in this instance, GameEx crashed whilst playing Flashback - GameEx closed itself down in background):

    Psx Help

Erm, I couldn't quite grasp the problem, but may be similar to a prob I had. My solution to it here: http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/13871-multiformat-universal-playstationpsx-rom-loader-deals-with-zipped-and-ecm-roms/?hl=epsxe Dunno if that will help - but take a look + see if it matches your problem.
  10. Any of you guys tried this? I was pleasantly surprised... I was fearing awful Skyrim-type controls.
  11. Thanks null. Think that might work in some cases, but for larger sets, may be difficult. For instance, I'm not sure which images run best with Project tempest and which with Virtual Jag, so the option to come back to the game launch menu if not working would be the best approach. Short of duplicating the entire set, this may prove problematic. I haven't looked into it a great deal + there may be other workarounds (custom lists etc - which don't know much about) but was just a thought from a front end use POV. Thanks for the suggested workaround though!
  12. Perfect null, cheers! That nailed it. Note to self: do a bloody search yerself next time!
  13. It feels a funny time to make suggestions with you guys working so hard on Fight Club 2. However, I'm progressively using the emulator groups function. What would be really goo would be if you could choose which emulator to use once you've selected the game. So it'd go something like this: Home>System>Games>Emulator for e.g.: Home>Atari Jaguar>Atari Karts> (here getting a choice of launching with Virtual Jag or Project Tempest) At the moment, each game is listed twice (or more with more emus) and when hover over or select, can't tell which emulator is launching it. Feel free to file in the small, black, round, open topped filing cabinet in the corner of the room.
  14. Twas a good idea, null. No problems with stuttering when running from runitgame, outside of gameex. So, this infers GE + Desmume are crossing over somewhere? In the words of Bollo "I have a really bad feeling about this!" - funny thing is - i think my system's powerful enough to run both, to not limited by hardware. Hmmm....bit beyond me this one..
  15. Back again to come to the gods of good advice and all knowledge. Desmume working perfectly when launch outside of GameEx. When Launch from GameEx, stuttery performance - kinda like laggy or something maxing out. However, monitored CPU+RAM+GPU - all waaay below maxing out. Screenshot (blurgh - wish their was a way to resize images on this board): Running without any plugins (disabled GameInfo) and emu settings look kosha. There is an AHK script running in bg, but desmume works fine when this script is running without gameex. Puzzled! Feels like there's something interfering between GameEx + Desmume. Why can't applications just get along!? Ini attached. Anyone any ideas? Thanks Nintendo DS.ini
  16. My mind blew years ago. Just put some tinfoil between the contacts.
  17. I've been advised before to delete all files in the GameEx>Data Folder that contain any file extension with the word "cache" in it, like below: Worked for me, but don't know if it'll help with your prob. Don't worry about deleting them though, GE just recreates the necessary files on re-launch.
  18. Just testin whether you'd talk about it. Tyler won't be happy! Really looking forward to this new release. Will it also do my washing for me?
  19. Liking the new CP toggle - just a simple on/off without timed close works well!
  20. No worries chap - really appreciate your passion for plugins + all you contribute!
  21. Ah! Figured it. Was running the .exe from the second folder in the picture above because had the .dll in it. However, this was version 1.1. The .exe at folder level above that is ver 1.2 - so just copied the .dll into that folder and everything works great now, thanks.
  22. Feel like I'm always bearing bad news!! But testimony to how much I love the plugins!
