  1. Totally understand and no problems here just wondering if it was on my side (which it is) Thanks! Let me know when the discounts are ready
  2. I have to say I really like this! thanks for making this possible! now my problem is, I can't connect to the FTP (says service is unavailable) has the FTP info changed?
  3. No problem, I will wait until its done, thanks for the update
  4. (not sure if my last post got deleted without notice or I didn't press submit, but here it is again, if my last one was deleted I hope to hear why before this one gets deleted as well) My hard disk where I had all my emulation stuff (including GameEx) died one me now I am trying to set everything back again, but the gameex.com site is down since at least yesterday so I can't download the installer, anyone has a direct link to download it, or has the latest installer that I can have? Thanks
  5. I reseted Data.db3 and now it seems to work fine, I lost all of my favorites and stuff but no big deal
  6. So, I've had this problem for a while (I made a post a while back) that games do not appear on the recent played list, specially for emulated games (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc, etc) I am getting to the point where I want to start from scratch, since I tried everything I could imagine except for re-installing, but I have about 20 emulators setup, I would rather not go to the hassle of adding them all again. so my question is, is there a way to reset all settings except for emulator (rom paths, fullscreen shortcuts and all of that), maybe if I delete all the databases, will gameex recreate them at launch? would this help me with my problem? Thanks in advanced! Shanti Gilbert
  7. Yep, I agree, Tom has been great in that regard, but I was just curious Thanks again for all the replies
  8. Thanks all, don't get me wrong, I am not demanding upgrades/updates for the current/older GameEx, but in my case, I just need a simple emulator frontend, GameEx as it currently is, is perfect for me, I am more worried about bug fixing (if any should pop-up), or getting cut off, of lets say, artwork download and such. I am sure Evolution will be great and it might catch my eye once released, but in the meantime I am fine with regular GameEx. Tom deserves all the money he asks, the product is the best emulator front-end I've used, hands down, not to mention he is very friendly and fast to respond to bug fixes and such.
  9. Thanks for the reply, that makes me sad at last I hope Tom will make it a different product so we don't have to be forced to upgrade.
  10. I am trying not to sound dumb (although that just made me sound dumb ), and I have searched for a bit, but I am still very confused... I am not sure what Evolution will include (other than what that very fast video shows), and whats different from the regular GameEx, but if I am not interested in upgrading, what does it mean for us "lifetime members" of regular GameEx, do we still get updates? or is that the end of the line? I am not sure when I got my license, but I am sure it was before September 1st, 2013, when I search in the client area it says I haven't bought anything yet
  11. Well it might be a bug, but not sure how to reproduce it, my main problem are only 2 emus, nestopia and higan, both of witch have way more roms than 26. I am not sure if a "fresh" install will also have the same problem, I haven't tried because I spent so much time configuring GameEx to run the way I want it, I am scared to delete the database and then have to start over
  12. been trying for a few more days, and I still can't get them to show :S anyone else have any ideas? I am about to delete the whole database, but I feel that should be unnecessary
  13. on all the other emulators it appears when I run it at least once, the most played appears on top, but ones I run just once appear on the list as well (I think the top 10)
  14. I have a weird problem, I recently installed Higan as my SNES emulator, after a very hard time to configure it to see and play my ROMs (but thats another story) but now, the "Last Played" (or Most played? the list that appears on top of the ROM list) games don't appear, I noticed this also happens with Nestopia, but all my other emulators work and do show the "Last Played" list. I made sure the option was setup for all of my emus on the .ini but still no go. can anyone help me out? I was going to try and delete the database and start from scratch but I REALLY don't want to do that. emu_2 is nestopia emu_16 is Higan Thanks, and happy new year
  15. Happy New Year to everyone as well Can't wait to see what Gameex will bring us in 2014
