  1. Glad its working out for you. In regards to Amazon, it aint exactly broke, so it's low priority for me.
  2. Hi Romstar, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunatly the problem lies entirely with NVidia. I wish I had the skill, knowldege and time to hack there drivers but I don't It seem they fixed the problem in newer drivers but only for there newer chipsets(cards). Theres nothing I can do, the problem does not lie here but with Nvidia. Of course you do have the option of buying a new video card. They move on so fast so you could probably get something better than your existing one one for only a small price. Say something like an ATI X1300, or Nvidia 7300, or if you've got an AGP slot pick up an ATI 9600/9600 Pro cheap off ebay.
  3. Don't know, its working fine for me. Perhaps something to do with the version of MAME your running? Also try using a normal theme, does that make a difference? Yeah, its the V2 theme that's screwing it up. Ill get it fixed.
  4. When I say folder.jpg and album.jpg that means literally! Rename the file to folder.jpg
  5. 7th May, 2006 - GameEx 6.01 Jukebox will now look in the song folder for folder.png/jpg and album.png/jpg album art before attempting to download. Not entirely sure whether it was WMP that downloaded these but on my system I already have folder.jpg images and there hidden The Forum news feed is now included when selecting News from the application. Great for keeping up with whats going on without reaching for a keyboard! For registered users theres now an option under Basic MAME settings, to have GameEx dynamically create and use Bezel artwork for vertical games running on a horizontal display. Click the help link in the config app for more info
  6. Hi, its not possible to have complete control over this just yet, but if you want everything to appear on the start page, turn on Flat menus under display settings in config.
  7. Do you know which version of the .net framework you have? Ensure you have 1.1 and SP 1
  8. Hi Jon, You don't need an internet connection. The Nag screen will timeout. This can take up to 25 seconds on really old hardware because of the GameEx initiliasition running in addition. Otherwise you can register on another computer via paypal and just copy the key over the to the MAME computer once its emailed to you
  9. Hi, as I said please email me about this. Just send me an email.
  10. GameEx Should do a click to sort the list alphabetically. Did you get the model 2 emulator from http://nebula.emulatronia.com/ ?
  11. Its already been sent, if you didnt get it there was some email or spam problem. Please email me Tom
  12. Both issues now fixed and in v6.00 now available. Go grab it. Thanks for letting me know about this. The exception was a BIG issue. GameEx was basically doing no exception checking in the main loop. I have a conditional compile variable that turns off the exception checking to make debugging easy. Problem was I left it turned off! Tom
  13. I'm looking into the two issues, but you can simply add web sites in the config as web applications.
  14. Hi, Can you replace GameEx.exe with the one attached and see if the problem is fixed please? Thanks, Tom GameEx.zip
  15. Use the Winterblast Control plug in: V1.6: http://emperor.free.fr/zinc_controller/inp_controller.zip

  18. Other than double check you are deffinitly using the D3D renderer and full screen, no ideas, sorry.
  19. Yeah, sounds like it got corrupted. Can you post it here? I might be able to fix it for you, and it will help me fix the root problem. I know its an issue as its happened to me. Thanks. Tom. EDIT: Look in the GameEx/Data directory and post GameStats.ini and and GameList.ini
  20. What version of GameEx are you using, and have you tried turning on map keys? Are you using the latest version of Visual Pinball? I believe this bug was fixed.
  21. For others - the command line option to hide the gui and menus is: -nonewui
  22. Hi, I do plan to look into this, just have not had time yet. Tom
  23. Its an external application, go into config, external applications and disable it. EDIT: Actually my fault, I left it in there. Sorry!
  24. The capture is done through MAME itself so GameEx cant control it. The slow down is normal, and MAME does not have support to record sound. The issue with it not doing all games, is because it only records videos for parent roms ie not clones. and only games that are listed in GameEx/ The solution is to temporarily rebuild the GameEx MAME game list, after removing all the filtering options in GameEx config (when I say all I dont just mean the Game Filter). Get your Games List showing every game you have, or all games and then create the videos. It will skip any youve already made. I do hope to improve this in a future release.
  25. More Sense - The configuration is stored in the Config folder.
