  1. I brought the TV functionality in GameEx up to this decade, removed the legacy stuff and it can now act as an IPTV client, supporting M3U plus, XMLTV, Xsream and VOD. It's very simple to configure and supports up to 20 playlists. With this I also improved the http video streaming. In addition I resolved several minor bugs and resolved a few exceptions that were being swallowed. Enjoy. View the full article
  2. $160 Stateside. https://www.amazon.com/Beelink-Lake-N100-Desktop-Computer-Ethernet/dp/B0BYJ9BC15/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=mini%2Bpc%2Bn100&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&th=1
  3. I've said it before but get a mini PC rather than a PI.
  4. Let me know if it works for you if you don't change anything or much. Otherwise absolutely its not going to work with all modified settings. A lot of stuff is not implemented too yet. For example MAME launches but Emulators don't. Its an alpha and I'm looking for feedback but not much else at this point. There is a lot of stuff I need to do before I am looking for bug reports. Thanks for taking a look though buddy. i appreciate it.
  5. Yeah, looks like you changed the theme. Dont expect everything to work here buddy. Its an alpha.
  6. Works for me if i dont mess with anything. Otherwise looks like you cant connect to my site. it downloads fonts and looks like it cant,
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys. I will get on it. Nice project for me. PS: Don't know about Linux Flatpack. It will run of Unity. I believe for Linux it supports Ubuntu and compatibles.
  8. Hin Can you please try now. There was a servere configuration issue I just fixed.
  9. The setup wizard is included in the extract. You just launch one of the three included included executables.
  10. This is something I started in 2020. I have not made much progress until recently but now have the Windows x64 version nearly completed. It originally started as a separate project but now it uses the same code base. Please consider an alpha version at this point just for feedback and testing. If you are new here please use the other GameEx installs. The benefits of the multiplatform version: - Few or no external dependencies. Just Unity/Mono. - Eventually versions for other platforms such as Linux and Android. - Setup will be web based leveraging GameEx online, - Everything uses the same code base. All versions get updates. Downsides: - There is video support but no MKV support just yet. - Will be missing some features but both Arcade and regular GameEx will be supported. Instructions: Windows: Extract to a location with write access. Then run one of three executables. Download here View the full article
  11. I think Ill switch over to working on PinballX multiplatform then. More interest here I think. Plus its a lot easier than GameEx.
  12. I have had good luck with this debloat script: It did seem to give me a noticeable performance improvement: https://github.com/LeDragoX/Win-Debloat-Tools
  13. Thanks Mike. Good points. Have you tried the VPX standard version?

This is something I started in 2020. I had not made much progress until recently but now have it not far off completion, It originally started as a separate project but now it uses the same code base. Please consider an alpha version at this point just for feedback and testing. If you are new here please use the other GameEx installs. There are currently alpha versions of Linux, Mac and Android to download., The benefits of the multiplatform version: - Few or no external dependencies. Portable install. - Everything uses the same code base. All versions get updates. - Supports all major platforms. Including Linux, Android and Mac. Downsides: - There is video support but no MKV support just yet. - Will be missing some features but both Arcade and regular GameEx will be supported. Instructions: Linux: Extract and open a terminal window in that folder. chmod +x GameEx.x86_64 ./GameEx.x86_64 Android: Allow apps from unknown developers or use an emulator Open APK on device and install. Note: Needs decent RAM and storage. Mac: Unzip file Then not sure, not tested on actual mac yet!
  17. Laser goodness. Nice. Thanks for the post.
  18. Given that I have been working hard on the below which uses the same video/audio/input libraries as PinballX I wanted to ask if there is any interest in cross platform Pinballx? I also see there is this: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/blob/standalone/standalone/README.md Anyone tried it? PS: It does run super silky its just the capture,
  19. So the not found folder is being deleted every time you start gameex. is that right? im confused, because you just said above it was being created? Oh wait, i see there is an exception. thats why. ill look into it.
  20. it should be noted that the folder is deleted on a schedule to allow for a new artwork scan in case new (additional) artwork has become available. its on a schedule not everytime though. or should be. it could be highlighting another issue that artwork is not downloading. id need to see "all" (artwork download and check the date) logs to look into it further.
