  2. The pandemic, losing my mother during it and dwindling interest from others along with a different situation personally has prompted me to make some significant changes and me wanting to make things purely a hobby again, albeit funded by me. Everything is now free, including all variations of GameEx, the FTP, artwork download and GameEx Online. I want to do things purely for the glory, hobby and community, once again. Hopefully it will bring some renewed interest and a better purpose for me, while not having to worry about taxes, EU red tape and not much income to show for it. I want to enjoy my work and not compete on a commercial level with free products and a commercial product that spends large amounts of money on marketing and employees. I also want to give something back. We are all riding off the back of other peoples work and efforts and I want to have more admirable intentions going forward. I was primarily inspired by MAME and that has always been free. I can afford the cost and hopefully I will get some new support and renewed interest because of my good intentions and I can continue to be motivated, if not more so. Thank you to everyone who ever purchased something from me and all the support over the years. There has been many high points such as products being shown on Shark Tank twice, Pinball hall of fame and being featured in numerous books, publications and cover disks (if you are old enough to know what they are!) I have two new free GameEx products in the pipeline and I am in no way slowing things down. Its just time to mix it up again.. Hopefully you will support me in going free for all but if you just purchased and are unhappy feel free to contact me for a refund. Its all about the hobby and always should be. Thank you. 3. Given that I have been working hard on the below which uses the same video/audio/input libraries as PinballX I wanted to ask if there is any interest in cross platform Pinballx? I also see there is this: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/blob/standalone/standalone/README.md Anyone tried it? PS: It does run super silky its just the capture,

  4. Finally Zen studio added direct table launch to his latest Pinball FX . This guide will make it easy to setup FX direct table launch from your PinballX installation (without using @joyrider3774 his awesome table launcher file). If you didn't have a FX setup system in PinballX, open PinballX settings (otherwise skipp this part): Go to 'Other Systems' Select the first free slot to add a new system : Create a new system with the following settings: name/Folder : Pinball FX Enabled : Yes System Type: Custom Working Path: C:\Pinball\steam Table Path: Executable: Steam.exe Parameters: -applaunch 2328760 -table [TABLEFILE] -GameMode Classic Process to monitor: PinballFX-Win64-shipping.exe (Where working path is the path of your steam directory) if you play PinballFX in cabinet mode and PinballX is started in landscape mode, you need to rotate your screen within Pinball FX to rotate 270 degrees : Now that we have a system setup, we need a database file file that has all correct entries in it. Attached is a Pinball FX.xml file that was created on the 9th of June, with the tables till that that. Place this file in your PinballX\Databases\Pinball FX folder Now you can launch Game Manager or Database manager to add @joyrider3774 his media he created This result in something like this : If you found all the media, you can launch PinballX and launch Pinball FX with Direct table launch : If you have a real DMD, don't forget to change the DMD option within the cabinet settings for FX (set External DMD): @freezy did a great job with Zen studios to have his dmddevice integrated in this softwrae. When setting this setting, it works directly for me : It should be possible to use the altcolor, but didn't get that (yet) to work) I got Freezy to work with Colored VNI and pall, buit I needed to update my DMDdevice64.dll in my vpinmame\dmdext direectory (not sure why it looked at that See freezy/dmd-extensions: A toolbox for virtual pinball dot matrix displays. (github.com) for altcolor directory names here's a small demo, launch a table directly from PinballX EDIT : Because I already have all the backglass images in PinballX, I disabled the Backglass images within Pinball FX To show the backglass from PinballX during game play, you can uncheck the "Hide Backkglass" in game manager : Or via Database Manger, uncheck "Hide Backglass during game" As this is time consuming, you can also open the PinballFX.XML file and replace <hidebackglass>True</hidebackglass> for <hidebackglass>False</hidebackglass> Don't forget to save the database file ! SETUP CABINET BUTTONS: a small other thing . I use X360CE for 'translating' my Pinscape buttons (and plunger) to an Xbox 360 controller. it is free and working. I still use an older 3.x version, as this doesn't need to run constantly (and causing double key presses) The only thing I needed to do is to copy the following 2 files to the following steam directory : ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Pinball FX\PinballFX\Binaries\Win64 x360ce.ini xinput1_3.dll (64 bit version !) The X360CE.ini is my default ini file, I use for all my steam apps, but be aware you need xinput1_3.dll 64 bit 9and not the 32 bit as you maybe use for other games! FX Launcher To setup a direct table launch, for differrent modes or multiplayer, I modified @joyrider3774 his PinballX launcher, to use for FX The files are in FXLauncher.zip Install instructions : extract the files from the zip to your harddrive Modify PinballFXLauncher.ini where needed (Steam path, keys and button settings). See https://github.com/joyrider3774/PinballX_Launcher_app for all settings Update PinballX system : and enjoy ! Edit : If you want to setup Pinball M , you can use this tutorial as well, but just use the following for your custom system : For Pinball M : name/Folder : Pinball M Enabled : Yes System Type: Custom Working Path: C:\Pinball\steam Table Path: Executable: Steam.exe Parameters: -applaunch 2337640 -table [TABLEFILE] Process to monitor: PinballM-Win64-shipping.exe (Where working path is the path of your steam directory) Pinball FX.xml FXLauncher.zip Pinball M.xml

  5. So very glad you talked me out of Quitting = Very Happy Pinhead here! For those peoples who have been following this adventure - Mike DA Spike - and his co-horts have solved my problems, all my tables that have a virtual DMD (with this fix) in Future Pinball will be able to add the DMD to their 3rd screen. Thank-you so very much. I'll now try to write a .bat file for VPX and other tables to work with PINBALL X. OBTW DMDext only works on tables that already have a DMD.

  7. Okay, so when I'm running a non-pinball game like MAME or console, I will use the TOPPER & DMD features as info screens or overlays. I had already made looping backglass videos for my Vertical MAME games. I decided to maybe add the game info, but wanted it to be transparent. It did not work. I actually ended up making new loops with the text.

  8. @Dacstyle asked me for documentation for settings up Vpinball 10.8 (still in beta) with different settings. Some use cases : Default cabinet support Used for tables with that needs some lower graphics settings VR system Headtracking devices In previous versions all settings where set in the registry and using for example another system needs a launch script to change the value in the registry. Starting from VisualPinballX 10.8 all the settings are stored in an INI file When launching the VpinballX.EXE (VpinballX_GL.EXE, VPinballX64.exe or VPinballX_GL64.exe) for the first time, it will copy all the settings from the registry to %appdata%\VPinballX\VPinballX.ini When this file exists, everytime you launch VpinballX 10.8 (or higher) it will use this INI file. any change you make to the configuration will be made to this file as well To use Visual Pinball with different settings, you can make copies of this file. In my example I will make 3 different settings files : Standard Visual Pinball Visual Pinball 64 bit GL for headtracking Visual Pinball 64 Bit GL for VR But as I said, you can make your settings file If you save the INI file next to your table file, with the same table name, it will use this ini file for the specific table as well ! (But hard to manage 1100+ tables like me) My steps : Copy the file %appdata%\VPinballX\VPinballX.ini to your Visual Pinball Directory. For me it is C:\Pinball\Visual Pinball Rename the file so, it you know the purpose of it In my example : Will be the standard VP settings (no extra ini, just the one from appdata) Visual VPinballX_Headtracking.ini Visual VPinballX_VR.ini So I got 2 ini files in my Visual Pinball directory : To launch Visual Pinball with a specific INI file, you need to launch the exe from the command line with a special -ini parameters : For example to launch the VR : This is not really user friendly, so I want to make it a bit easier. When just checking tables, I'm not using my front end, but just using file explorer. When I right click on them, I want to options that I created (see the 3 above). Like this : Open and Edit are still the default But 'Edit Kinect' and 'Edit VR', I added (with the correct Ini files). Create a text file call VP.reg (or anything with the extension .reg) paste the following into it : Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell\Edit VR] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell\Edit VR\command] @="\"C:\\Pinball\\Visual Pinball Beta\\VPinballX_gl64.exe\" -ini \"C:\\pinball\\Visual Pinball\\VPinballX_VR.ini\" -edit \"%1\"" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell\Edit Kinect] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell\Edit Kinect\command] @="\"C:\\Pinball\\Visual Pinball Beta\\VPinballX64.exe\" -ini \"C:\\pinball\\Visual Pinball\\Visual VPinballX_Headtracking.ini\" -edit \"%1\"" Modify the names to display ('Edit Kinect' and 'Edit VR') for your own purpose Also change the paths to the EXE files and the INI files to your own needs save the file and should show up like this : Double click the file click Yes and click Yes to confirm Now you have the 2 extra menu options Note : If you want to setup for all users, replace the following lines from: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\VPX_auto_file\shell If you now right click on a VPX file, you can edit this in the system you want, and when exiting Visual Pinball , it will save it to that file. For example, we only copied the files to the Viusl Pinball Direcorty. now I want to setup my VR environment : I right click on a VPX and select Edit VR Visual Pinball will open (Gl version with the ini file for VR) I can make my adjustments for any settings and close Visual Pinball. this will automaticlly save the INI file Testing a table ? just click run (F5) in the editor Now do this for all your ini files. If you want to setup a specific INI file for a table that needs special threatment. just copy an in ifile to the location where your VPX table is, and name the INI file with the same name : How to setup your frontend ? Different configs needs to be separated by extra System (I hope that Tom will add this feature request ) to the parameters, add -ini with the INI file as well I have my VR tables in a different folder and set it up like this :

  9. Having completed a PinballFX install/config on my Pinball X cabinet, it looks like no animated backglasses are available for "FX only" games (from what I searched). I decided to create a few animated wallpapers and share them. There are also table videos as well. Wild West Rampage (why was this one done? - read below) Curse of the Mummy Grimm Tales My Little Pony Pinball Noir Sky Pirates Star Wars Pinball - Classic Collectibles Star Wars Pinball - The Mandalorian Twilight Zone I know many of you guys are way better at this than me, or want to do your own animations or backglasses, so I'm including all Photoshop and video assets on google drive. The directory structures are the same: main directory are production files ready to be used or altered; the Image Files directory will be any png files and the main photoshop file. There are 2 versions of backglass videos and images: one with, and one without, my recreated PinballFX logo. For the videos, use handbrake to encode anything you create using the MPEG-4 or h.264 video encoder (Handbrake > Video tab > Video Encoder > MPEG-4 or H.264). Why....?? I'm not really a fan of the "pencil style" official Pinball FX logo. I created my own modified version, more in the spirit of the FX3 logo. I left the logo OFF the final images and video because these days it's easy-enough to add one yourself. For example, if you like the official PBFx logo, the quick is: place a non-logo video in a video editor, add a transparent png of the official logo on top of the video, move and resize the logo, then render. My cabinet backless is 1920x1200. My table is 1920x1080. The only real noteworthy change is to Wild West Rampage. Over time there are varying inconsistencies and qualities with the backglass image and video. I decided to recreate it from scratch. The gunslinger and badge are now isolated layers (in Photoshop). This means you can move the gunslinger anywhere you would like and still see the entire saloon. The town has been recreated by hand and some AI elements were added (mountains behind water tower, saloon doors, new sky). I enhanced the "Grimm Tales" text in the backglass image for Grimm Tales. For Twilight Zone I wanted to keep the real backglass for the game play and not use the newer stylized version for PBFx. This is why there is no stylized gameplay backless provided in the google drive link. For those of you that like these additions, what's the future? No promises. The only videos I MAY be making will be for tables that are exclusively for PinballFX, and ones I actually purchase that are not FX3 duplicates that already I own (e.g. Back to the Future). The exception was Wild West Rampage. Having said that, I like consistency and a similar look-and-feel to things. There are some FX3 videos/backglasses that I want to re-do on my cab, or find an updated version (e.g. on FX3, my Moon Knight video has the FX2 logo on it - there's either an FX3 version, or not!) Enjoy, and if the videos need to be copied to a download section or an FTP directory - please feel free to copy, move, distribute, and crosspost to wherever makes the most sense! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bY0Mvyef_XF_t-BqQSuEjn4cKnOJzRV1?usp=sharing

  11. I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Please take the time to spend with your family be it with the one you were born into and/or the one you made from your friendships along the way. This season brings with blessings for many, but curses for some. As we get older, we see more empty seats at the table. We notice we are moving a little slower and the reality that our seat will one day be empty is sobering for some, saddening to most. Forums, social media, and text messages fill some of the voids and the time, but there's nothing like a phone call to an old friend or exchanging stories from the past with family over a cup of something hot. My Christmas wish for you is that you are not alone. If not for just one day, put aside whatever spat or differences exist and tell your parents and siblings that you love them. I tell mine every day, even though their "earthly ears" have gone in recent years and I only feel their pressnce in the stories I share with my family and in my heart. Rekindle an old friendship or maybe even a love. Christmas miracles do happen, but unlike a Hallmark movie, someone has to make the first effort and all involved have to work to keep the fires stoked. May God's blessings be with you all! Mike

  12. During holiday season, @scutters and I where not getting sunburned, but working on a new release of DBM. We had a long discussion about the new Zen Pinball FX and thanks to Fraesh (VPS-DB) we where able to add Pinball FX tables in an easy way to DBM. This is including the correct table names, description name etc. Here are some small animation that will show how easily it can be done (you need off course to setup the correct system. This can be found here : https://forums.gameex.com/forums/topic/28881-guide-setup-zen-pinball-fx-in-pinballx-steam-version/ ) Single table : Auto import missing tables : Adding new/missing entries and obsolete checking: IPDB entries : Enough about FX. Think you understand now that Pinball FX is handled the same way as VPX/FP and FX3 tables Another great improvement is the 'Table Version' start time. This is really improved if you have a large set of VP tables. To compare this is from the previous version with my data record set, heres my vp list with the previous version of dbm And this is from the latest version : Isn't that an improvement ??? We also added a command line option to use DBM with different settings : here's a small demo to create a new INI and set different settings These are the most important new features which @scutters and I brought to you. read the full release notes if you want to know all of the changes A big thanks to Scutters for getting this release done

  21. Login.exe is an old app and no longer maintained.. I think youve found your own problem there. i will make it legacy and remove it for the next release. Sorry, not what you are looking for I know. As an alternative you could have seperate installs of GameEx sharing the same media with slight differences. I mean have seperate installs in different folders. Copy over everything and tweak the configs. Then create shortcuts for the different installs.

  22. hey @Mike_da_Spike i have not updated or created anything new. Just wondering, i can easily rename my media that is in my github to the numbered names, should i upload those to a "Pinball FX" directory in the official place on ftp ? Btw you don't need an external program to rotate playfield anymore, you can do it in the ingame settings

  23. Thanks, please note that you can just attach the files, it's easier for us to read and there's no need for you to take all the screenshots From what i can see though the Future Pinball launch parameters look suspect. Can you change them to; Parameters=/open "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /play /exit /arcaderender /STAYINRAM If that doesn't work please attach (as files!!) fresh copies of your pinballx log.txt & pinballx.ini files.

  24. Based on @PcTeknic request in #general to launch multiple exe's but put them inside a single system i made a new launch script that can launch .lnk or .url or .bat files (or even .exe or .com files but it's better to create a .lnk (shortcut) file to it then). This makes it easy to put single application or games inside a single system, you can even make multiple such systems and folders if you like to group them or so. The way it works is you need to create a directory with shortcut or url or .bat files named like so : [game.exe].[idenitifier].lnk the [game].exe needs to be the exe filename of the program you are launching using your lnk (url or bat) file, it's the process we will monitor. The [idenitifier] can be anything you like it's been mainly added just in case you have multiple games using same [game.exe] filenames so you can still create multiple shortcut files just never use a point inside the identifier name. For example Malzbies pinball collection exe is named PinballCollection.exe, create a shortcut (or url in this case of steam, you can use steam to create the shortcut on the desktop, in case of shortcuts to exe files, goto the folder of the exe file and right click and drag it to an empty spot and choose create shortcurt) afterwards name that shortcut "PinballCollection.exe.Malzbies.url" and copy it to your launch files folders this is also the game name you need to use inside gamemanager. the script will then extract [game.exe] from the filename and launch the shortcut or url or batch file, wait for [game.exe] process to start and then wait for it to stop and quit the script. You can and WILL NEED TO setup a key in the script here, being the same one as the key you use for quiting games inside pinballx. The script will then close the game and stop running. also DO NOT set process to monitor to the script.exe filename if you do that the launch after script will never work because pinballx will kill the script before it can run the launch after batch file. Launch before and after bat files are also supported. the script will check if [game.exe].[identifier].launchbefore.bat exits and launch it (while waiting for it to finish) before starting the shortcut. The same is applied for the launch after bat file, it checks for [game.exe].[identifier].launchafter.bat and launch that either when the game exits naturally or when you press the key i spoke of earlier (the script closes the game / exe file when you press that key and it will no longer wait on the process to end and then run the launch after script). this is the script: LaunchLnkFile.ahk this line you need to change the key to your quit key (same one as you use in pinballx) This is how my launch files folder look like: This how to set it up in pinballx (note do not put process to monitor.exe the script handles this if you do set it to the script filename, the launchafter bat file stuff will not work as pinballx will kill the script then) these are the games are setup for the system inside game manager If you want to add commandline parameter for some games add them to your LNK files for example: if you need more control over a specific file use a [game.exe].[identiefier].bat file to launch the game and put all required commando's inside the batch file i did not test this but this should work also

  25. You can use any cursor you want if you replace the file BlackDOT.cur file in the PinballX dir. I do this because I always seem to be tinkering and like having the cursor that is easy to find and move around. So when I'm in game mode I use this large Mario Brother cursor that is easy to find. Then if PinballX crashes or something happens, I still have a mouse cursor. Keep in mind that if you do an update to PinballX, you will need to copy your custom cursor back.

  26. @Tom Speirs Sorry Tom and not sure how I did that. I do use a VPN, but it normally always connects to the same vpn server. Thanks for getting me fixed back up and hope I stay off the naughty list. I do appreciate all that you do and even signed up for a second lifetime membership a month ago to this site. Your app makes the VP experience great! I have tried some of the other front ends and was never happy with how they looked or worked.

  27. Guys, I recorded some of the new tables in pinball fx, yesterday evening but also during the night i took the time to add videos, dmd's animated backglasses etc from pinball FX3 and renamed to the names my launcher uses as well there is not that much difference between these tables in pfx3 and pfx and i don' want to rerecord these. I also created topper videos using mike's tool, as year i took for zen tables the year the very first time a table appeared in any zen game (according to pinball fx fandom) not just pinball fx and for bally / williams i took their original release year. I also added my wheels there to it as well as table audio i had from pinball fx3. There are about 90-95 tables out of the 105 that now got this completed media, the rest i need to record. You can find these here https://mega.nz/folder/0kB0GDYK#p7uNEhTR5AJFW1jHMsjung Now my question should i upload these to pinball X ftp in a Pinball FX Directory in the official downloads, or to my the other downloads section ? The reason i'm resistive on doing it already is because they are named the way my launcher uses them, i did add rename batch files to rename them to the TABLE_XXX.YYY format that zen seemed to use for the backglasses so i could rename them already also before uploading them and upload in the other format, but since direct launch has not been released yet by zen for pinball fx it is actually not known as of yet what the parameters, and thus filenames would eventually be (there's a high chance it will be TABLE_XXX.YYY format though) . Maybe it's more logical to wait on the implementation of direct launch by zen to at least know what the filenames would need to be, i could leave them maybe only on the mega at the moment and just upload to ftp in an "offical Pinball FX" directory when the official release for direct table launch has been done. Not sure what your idea's are

  31. sure will do but will first see if it suits pctechnics needs, for me at least it works but i could probably expand it a bit to do what i suggested in case multiple games use same filename for exe files as well perhaps add launch before and after batch file support

  32. Here i create a simple autohotkey script just for this so you can launch .url and .lnk files. if your game is named pinbal.exe create a shortcut with name pinball.exe.lnk or if you want to start a steam game (which seem to use .url files) name it [game.exe].url where [game.exe] is the name of the process you want to monitor and also want to close when pressing ESC key. Basically you provide in the name of the shortcut also the name of the process to monitor (and thus name of exe of the game). and you put all these shortcuts (lnk) or url files in the same directory. here is the script for download (compile to exe) LaunchLnkFile.ahk This how you set it up in pinballx, the launchlnkfile.exe will keep running as long as the game runs or until your press ESC key so you can set the script exe as process to monitor This is my `M:\Pinball\PinballX\Launch files` directory with LNK and URL files containing the game exe filename And this is how you set it up in game manager: doing it using this simple script and workaround way you can just create one single system for all your LNK or URL files for games to launch and you can provide any parameters for the game inside the LNK (shortcut) and basically launch any single exe, url, bat, com etc file you want. It's also easy to backup as you only need to backup the script and the folder containing all the LNK or URL files, There is however one downside to the script if multiple games use same name for their exe you won't be able to launch them using this system but normally each game have an almost unique exe name. If that ever is the case we could adapt the script so that you can name your files [game.exe.01].lnk [game.exe.02].lnk until [game.exe.99].lnk in case of duplicate game.Exe's it should not be that hard todo. Let me know if that is needed or not and i'll adapt the script but first see if it'll suit your needs and if you can get it working

  33. Sorry buddy. Your first question was clear, but all the reactions on it, made your question looks like you asked something different. It is not much, but this is the information I have : So, you can only use direct EXE files as table name, with no parameter's at all. And the exe must be exact the same what you launch, other wise it cannot monitor the process and goes back to PinballX. So no go for Steams app that needs steam.exe to launch (maybe a feature request for adding Steam games would be a nice to have ?) I would update the PinballX documentation with the following note : System Type Specify a system type. If other than Custom, PinballX will treat it as the specified in built system and allow features such as high score support. Note: ‘Custom – Exe Files’ doesn’t require any of the next parameters. This type just points in Game Manager to the full path of an EXE file and monitors this process until it stops. Pressing the exit button will exit this process as well. No Parameters can be used

  34. @Tom Speirs released PinballX release 5.90 last week which combines the installation of PinbalLX xp/32 bit and the.net core version. DBM was relying on the Windows installation GUIDs to find the programs. To fix this issue, @scutters and I changed the part to identify PinballX and/or Touch-Play You still need a valid installation of one of the 2 GameEx applications on your system, but if you have multiple versions of PinballX on your cabinet (which is just a copy of all the PinballX files with different settings, database and media files). If you want to manage multiple versions of PinballX or Touch-PLay, just go to settings and click on the 3 dots next to the pull down menu of the 'application to Manage' This brings the following dialog : The 'default' applications will be in the pull down box and if you create new 'custom' GameEx applications, those will be added as well (and in the settings you can choose which application you want to manage. Some rules for adding custom applications : Custom Name must be unique and cannot be the same as a default application Program Full Path must be unique as well (otherwise you have 2 entries to manage the same app) Program Full Path should always be PinballX.exe or Touch-Play.exe Default applications are only showed for visibility and cannot be changed from this dialog Thanks to Scutters for all his help on this release again, and off course thanks to Tom Speirs, for his amazing PinballX front end and all the updates he is doing on it.

  35. I remember the line at the sit-down cab at the mall arcade. The token dispenser had to be refilled several times during the 4-5 hours I was there. I got to play once that day.

  36. Thanks so much @joyrider3774. I have all this working with my Steam collection. FX might not have a direct table launch, but this is damn close and works great. Plus even have the option to choose what type of game to play. I also go to my pimdmd3 to work with the FX games. Again thanks and great work!

  37. - The .net 6 and .net 4 (XP and 32 bit) installers have been combined into a single installer. - There is now just one download. - This makes it easier and quicker for me to do releases and avoids confusion. - To force the .net 4 install on 64 bit Windows 7 or newer set the compatibility to Windows XP or Vista.

  39. if @Tom Speirs adds new features to PinballX, @scutters and @Mike_da_Spike cannot get away with NOT updating DBM AND leave you with a product that will not work correct with PBX Why are NOT and AND uppercase ? Well, that's the extra function that Tom added for filters. Starting of Pinball 5.83, filters can contain not only OR , but also AND and NOT For DBM, we wanted to make it a bit easier, to not use the characters |(pipe), & and !. Within advanced search a search could already be don with the ' OR ' command as well (note that this must be in capitals and with spaces , to see the differences). But it now also can do AND and NOT. There are some rules that are explained in the PinballX documentation and Within the Database manager documentation. With DBm you can see directly the records that should match to your criteria (if you use the system filter) For example : All tables where display name contains '24' or display name contains 'Batman': If we just want display names that contains 'Batman' and '66' : If we just want display names that contains 'Batman' and '66' and not contains 'Original': AND and OR cannot exists on 1 line, but you can use them on multiple lines (but don't make it yourself too hard :D) (AND, NOT and OR can be replace with |(pipe),& and ! as well) All these queries can be saved as Filter as well and will be available in PinballX This was the biggest change Scutters and I did. We also fixed some minor bugs, updated 2 core components (JSON and MEGA) and properly some stuff we forgot already. A big thanks thanks to Tom Speirs for adding extra features to PinballX And also a big thanks to Scutters, who is helping with code and ideas to make DBM everytime better have fun with it

  44. Thank you. Tom Speirs.
