  1. So...funny you mention that. I've been on easily a week plus hiatus from pinball altogether (not by choice mind you) and have a good bit 'completed?' and I say that with a question mark, because I am having second thoughts on my process. What I was doing was of course cutting and cleaning the text/logo, but for the inner image, I was sort of using some of the images from the theme and some from the tables and It didn't make sense. What I think I am going to do in continuing is to use the 'theme' in the original and show a portion of the table for the retro and restyled ones (2016-18' verisions.) That way you know what the 'original' was by the themed icon. I just haven't found the time. I am sorry. Happy to share what I have so far? I can make a dir on the FTP and as they are named what the tables are...just overwrite them with the new ones? How about that.

  3. I don't see this as a PinballX thing at all as your issue is performance within the emulator and not the front-end. Hiding the DMD in the xml is the correct course of action but this only controls whether the DMD image or video stored in the media folder continues to be displayed in-game or not once you launch. This does not control anything in the emulation. In-game, press F1 on a connected keyboard and make sure Visual PinMAME settings for the table actually does have Show DMD/Display window unchecked. I've found it easier to simply use the Settings UI rather than edit the table script. Advanced users may just edit the registry directly (regedit). Then refer to the instructions for the B2S Player. There are settings with that program that will use B2S generated segments for the scoring display and you can disable Visual PinMAME rendered scoring. Note that some directb2s files may actually display something in the third screen (a static image usually but the author could possibly animate it based on table events in a fantasy scenario) even if the table would normally make use of two screens. It's good to explore all the possibilities.

  4. thanks a lot that actually made me able to change it between woman (zira) and men's (david) voice on my main pc so i'm guessing it will work on my cab as well. I can only try it out during the weekend as i'm moving my cab from work to my home place tommorow evening. btw on my main pc i was able to unlock another voice (eva mobile) using this https://windowsreport.com/unlock-new-text-to-speech-voice-windows-10/ In case anyone is wondering where windows has hidden this, the "gui" way to access it is the following: open control panel (not settings) goto speech Recnognition section click text to speech on the left menu (the eva voice only showed up after applying the reg tweak from above link when going to it using this way).
