  1. Hello all, I just discovered this forum and wanted to share my arcade documentary series. I hope this is the right forum.I've been a videogame player since 1978 but lost my hands and feet to pneumonia three years ago. I figured out a way to keep playing and also started this documentary series just a couple of months ago. I hope you enjoy them. Also, up on my channel is the history of Chase HQ, paperboy, jungle hunt and more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8EJ5Ncf81k&t=4s

  2. Just keep on keeping on! It will happen if it is meant to so long as you keep at it, or it may morph into something you haven't thought of yet. Remember that Facebook has a fair number of arcade and console groups so don't feel shy about joining them and sharing your work.

  3. This is the right place to post topics like this. I watched the news piece on your Patreon page and I suggest that anyone of my friends here that feels less than should take the time to listen. You, sir, are a hero, having found a way to overcome and continue forward with the hobbies, and Life with family and friends, all of which you apparently love. [Minor off topic] Most do not realize how serious pneumonia, strep throat, even the flu can be and how they can cause sepsis (blood poisoning) to occur and impact blood flow and/or settle in the extremities or cause organ failure or even death, so if you can, get vaccinated for them. BTW, I have subscribed after watching The History of Altered Beast and I like the humorous quips and injections along the way to tell the story. The videos are well done and there are quite a few more for me to venture through in the coming days. I am glad to see other systems (consoles) included.

  4. Had the laparoscopic cholecystectomy back in '93 after several months of pain that I described as if someone shoved a piece of rebar from my lumbar up through and under my sternum. Much the same thing only gall stones along with the sludge. Hopefully that will cure what ails you or at least remove a probable cause.

A: This has been a long time coming and that's because we've spent extra time adding the features you wanted into the next evolution of gaming front ends! Q: Who created it? A: This is the most advanced FE ever written by the best in the scene. In development for over 5 years by coders with over 25 years in FE and arcade app development combined! Q: Why did you create it? A: This is a creation born out of love and passion for the retro arcade and emulation community. The cost was great but it's our gift to you and this is only the beginning! Q: Where is feature X your promo video promised? A: We have included every feature we promised except for the Theme Editor. It's still in production. Let us know if you're interested! Q: What about native HyperSpin theme rendering? A: It's in there we just don't think it's that important. We're not trying to be HyperSpin but we're fans of the project - hi Bill! Q: What about RocketLauncher? A: While we think it's a pretty cool project we think if you're paying for a FE like ours it should all be integrated. That's why our Setup Wizard does everything! No 3rd party tools required! Q: What's the future of GameEx Evolution? A: Very bright! But we need your support and for us to succeed we need your help to get the word out. So don't just sit there, tell everyone the good news! Q: I need help or have a question! A: Great!
