  2. Hey All! New DMD arrived Thursday. All is well with the games, but dag if I can't get PBX to see it. Doesn't even try according to the log. Someone want to point me in the right direction? It's a PinDMDv3 and I haven't moved any .dll's around or anything as I've read it should naively work. I've tried every monitor in the .ini and I can see the virtual DMD show up, but nothing ever populates on the actual dmd. I might state that i'm using win10 and it's recognized as a serial/com device. Log and Ini attached. log.txt PinballX.ini

  3. This has always been an issue when adding dmdext to a front end. The process doesn't close out, and when you reopen it again, NADA. just add this to a txt taskkill /F /IM dmdext.exe and change the extension to .bat use that file as your launch after...you can do the same with autohotkey, which is what i used i even added a slight pause then ran the taskill command again, to ensure it was closed out. If you want to avoid FX3 breaking your setup, just back up your fx3 folder in steam, or make the folder read only.

I really like this frontend. I was able to get it up with logo artwork within minutes. I'm familiar with GameEX, so i'm ahead of the game a bit, but still simple for a newcomer. My only gripe is that Pinball FX2 is getting increasingly frustrating to setup. I've spent 4 days searching for answers and trying different things, only for it to still load to the table selection screen. For this continuing reason, I give it 3 stars for now. Pinball FX2 is my main interest. It has the best physics of any other pinball sim, and has some really good tables. Excalibur, World War Hulk and South Park are some of the top I must have.

  4. The author does not maintain previous versions of PinballX for download as this can lend to issues with support and product security. If you require assistance and are using the current version, please start another thread noting the version # and the issue and provide the pinballx.ini and log.txt files attached to your thread. Thank you.
