  1. Ongoing thread for the sharing of custom Loading Images. **NOTE: Backup existing loading.png file on your system (in another location). Rename the new loading image to loading.png and replace the original file. As Jannek states in the thread below., if you wish to use multiple images and have PBX randomly select them, simply add the extra images to the 'Loading Images' folder.

  4. There is not built in support for it. Can it be done with a custom script and external media player like VLC? Maybe. I never tried it. Startup video just gets in the way of playing pinball! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I've done a little bit of modding while on course. Here are a few other videos of DOFLinx mods I did recently for those interested.... Bubble Bobble Knight Rider RetroFlair ....and finally a VERY cool Visual Pinball X table. The Walking Dead LE. This has the crossbow, full colour virtual DMD with pretty dots, new PWM flashers, and a customized Cleland rom for original music and sounds from the TV show. I also added my own little mod of the addressable led 5 RGB flashers emulation. Instead of the normal circle shapes, I have it spell out "DEAD". I think it looks pretty cool!

  6. Sorry, it has taken so long for me to respond. I made the mistake of going skiing with my kids and my back wound up paying the price. I finally got everything working, although not perfectly. Like you guys said, I took out the extra space in - mouse tag and things worked from there. My rom set isn't matched with the current version of MAME, but I am working on fixing that. When ever I change something, if I do not do an "Update List", then nothing changes in GameEx so I figured that every time I change something I now just hit update list. So far, I love the front end. Once I fully get MAME working I am going to start pulling in other Emulators (N64, C64, NES, etc). I really appreciate everyone's help.

  7. Glad you got it going. As far as the video snaps I just used steam in a browser and right click on the video from the games store page and then save the video. I then used handbrake to convert to MP4 format as well as drop it down to 480P since its in a small window on the screen anyways and I save some HD space.

  8. Many thanks for your words. But to be honest those images are just a collection of images already available in the internet (sometimes with slight adjustments like cropping to fit the images to match the the portrait view). So, no need for more flowers anymore. Kind regards, Jannek

  9. I'm sure if the inspiration hit just right, you could create some great black & white images that would do it justice.

  10. My cab is white body / black top and can't help but think how amazing these would look on my cab. So jealous of Jannek's work. I'm a photographer and not bad at creating images with light, I've made a living out of it, but when it comes to a pencil, a brush or a graphics tablet.... I'm completely hopeless.

  11. Besides being awesome, regardless of whether the images are for a theme or not, it is the variety of the images that are available that matters. Some may use them for their own machines, while for others they may inspire more original creations! Well done!

  12. Jannek is a bloody hard act to follow, but here are some simple cabinet loading images to use individually or grouped for random display.

  15. OK, Draco, so here they come. I don´t know if those are really interesting for most others due to the fact that they are themed according to my upcoming Cab layout... But, as you wish.

  16. Thanks @Draco1962, I have updated the original post to reflect the ongoing status. Could we pin it so it sits with the 'New Wheel Images' thread please.

  17. @RustyCardores, I think you just started the loading images thread! Thanks for your contributions! @Jannek, be sure to share yours as well. I am certain that others will appreciate the love!

  18. You don't have to rename it. You may place several PNGs in the loading folder. PinballX shows the images in randomized order. I'm using about ten different images (Batman themed). Kind regards, Jannek
