  1. I'm guessing that the problem is with the OpenGL 2.9 plugin rather than with GameEx. You'll find problem reports popping up in various places regarding this exact same issue from time to time (example). The bad news is that I don't know that I've ever seen a proven fix for this particular glitch. One potential step I would definitely recommend is to see whether you have the same issue when running through ePSXe Shark Enhanced. This is (more or less) a patched version of ePSXe 1.8 which addresses a number of long standing issues with the emulator and it's plugin eco-system. It's a vast improvement IMO. It's the only version of ePSXe that I run currently, and it does contain some patches for the OpenGL plugins. I can't say for certain whether it will fix your current issue, but I can say that while I've experienced the issue you're describing while using vanilla ePSXe, I've never (to my recollection) experienced the same problem under Shark Enhanced. Shark Enhanced will also allow you to use an extended set of plugins, including the awesome Pokopom input plugin (which may very well have become my favorite input plugin ever).

  2. My wife was tired of watching me playing with the greengold as it was near the living room door and she wasn't able to hear the tv... so we moved it to another room... I live on an old house, and almost everything has weird measures, not standard. So my doors are 70cm wide. Same as the greengold. Moving the cabinet involved building a small wheel board to carry them (that collapsed under the weight so it was useless and I had to push the cabinet all it's way), remove both doors (living room and room) struggle to make it pass through the living room, remove a wall cabinet from the other room and... getting stuck on the other room's door, as it was NOT 70cm wide. Just a bit smaller... It was a though decision, but finally I had to sand off 3-4 mm on each door's frame side with sandpaper until I made it wide enough, then push and pull to make the cabinet go trough the door, and... get stuck again as there was not enough place to push it completely inside the room. So I had to pull it off my way again to the corridor, remove *another* wall cabinet, even bigger than the other one, push it again and finally place it in his actual place. Then it was time to hang the bigger wall cabinet, fill it with all the books and games I had scattered around, fix the doors in place... and still I need to apply varnish to the door frame I sandusted! phew!

  3. If I could chime in here for a second I also wanted to add that if you edit any CD image file name that has a .cue file (Sony Playstation for example) You'll have to edit the .cue file internally as well using notepad. Set your .cue files to open with notepad, then you'll be able to see the text contained in the .cue file. So if your Gran Turismo .cue file looks like this: FILE "Gran Turismo (U).bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 and your change your ROM name to this: Gran Turismo (USA) Then your .cue file should be editied to match the new ROM name like so... FILE "Gran Turismo (USA).bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 All of my PSX images are in .bin\.cue format, and I had to manually edit these things and it took a long time to do a complete set Simply renaming your ROM names will cause problems as the .cue files contain info/data on the music tracks in your PSX images. The music will be "choppy" or won't play at all if these aren't edited correctly. Once you made an edit to the .cue file, simply save and exit. Good luck!
