Hey Tom,

Do you ever plan on adding support for other MAME builds, such as FastMAME and NoNameMAME? FastMAME is great for those who have an older system and need a more optimized build and NoNameMAME has great speed and all the bells and whistles. Would it be a royal pain to add support for some other versions of MAME like these?

I tried loading up FastMAME by pointing GameEx to the exe but every time it just seemed to try to launch the game and just go straight back into the menu. Do I need to refresh my gamelist or anything of that sort?

Thanks!

I installed Fastmame .94 yesterday and it seems to work fine, no crashes, and I ran a handful of roms. I think rebuilding the romlist is not a bad idea, but I doubt that will solve your issue if you can't load anything. Try running it from command line first to be sure that works. You could try to run it as an alternate emu in GameEx too instead of using the built in mame configs.

Pretty much any command line based emu works fine in GameEx from my experience.
