Hit a small brick wall here, hope somebody could help me!

Basically, `Most Played` menu shows only 2 games, this is simply not true as I have tested a boat load of games whilst configuring with GameEx etc..
And my Last played menu never updates, and shows games from days ago.

Under all my emulators the options Show last played & played random/most played options are enabled. I have disabled, loaded GameEx, quit, then
re-enabled to see if it might rectify the problem but it does not.

Apart from this, I am thus far delighted with GameEx & will be registering shortly so thanks to Tom & all those involved for your efforts..

Some of those lists require a minimum number of plays and/or time played. I'm not sure what the filter is exactly, but every game you fire up won't immediately be added to the list.

Thanks for you reply but I think the problem lies elsewhere,..

As I say the last game played menu never updates anymore, and most played games menu I can assure, is truly inaccurate, it's as though the
record files are locked read only, I have no idea how to resolve this.

Help is much appreciated!

Hello everybody!

I resume this old thread 'cause I'm having the same issue, at least with "Last played" ("Most played is disabled"). Last played list won't update anymore. Any suggestion?

It's possible that cached files could have become corrupted (unlikely, but possible). If that's the case, you could delete your cached files and reboot. You would lose any data in the cache obviously...

I've recently purcahsed Game-Ex and having the same issue. My Most Played list is stuck at 2, if i check the Data.mdb all the data seems to be there, but not updating the front-end, any ideas?

Please click on the "Howq to ask for help" link in my sig which will also show you where to find the gameex.ini and log.txt files we often need to help troubleshoot a problem.

You may also wish to delete all files showing under the \gameex\data path with the word cache in the file name or extension and restart GameEx to see if this resolves the problem.
