I did post and Visitor Q said it had errors which is why I waited for you to test but never got a response. Didn't wanna release to the community if it had errrors. So mine works just fine as well. Visitor Q was just having settings issues. And he's using mine as we speak.

Will send my ELUSIVE WRAPPER when I get home. :P

Well took a look at your code. Has 2 problems. You're not bringing up the open dialog so you have to open it manually and then it starts to run. The other problem is that you don't wait for the process to close so gameex takes back focus after it loads it exits.

Yeah I just tested through gameex. I was testing just through command line before. I made a few changes.

I still need to kill process.

Loader is unfinished. Will edit post when I can.

Sry if this is a dumb question....but what is the difference between NullDC w/Naomi than w/o it? Is the emulation different?

Good question. Naomi is the ARCADE hardware. Dreamcast is the home console,

So the diffrence is like the arcade version of street fighter II versus the Supernintendo version of street fighter II

The dreamcast is based off naomi hardware and the games are PORTS to stay true to the arcade Naomi is the way to go. Now because the dreamcast is a home console there is much more games for it but they are not the arcade versions they wont say insert coin and all that fun stuff. Like MAME. NAOMI emulates the arcade versions of those titles. Some are arguably better in the arcade. Tho the home ports are near perfect.

ahh i see.....i was hoping Naomi would get rid of those God-awful jaggies in games like SNKCapcom and Marvel Vs. Capcom2. I never understood why when i owned a Dreamcast those games never looked that bad. But emulated the jaggies on characters look horrible. I dont even play those games because they look so bad.

Also, is it worth it to use NullDc 103? Or just stick with Beta 100.1_6

The jagies are there because your monitor is high res and the character sprites are lowres. If you run your pc and connect a TV to it it will look just like it did when your dreamcast is connected to a tv. Its that simple. I run all my emus through a TV as it give me a very smooth picture. You will find all emus look better doing this and is as close to the real thing. The only better way to get that TRUE arcade look is to use an arcade monitor which is even more low res.

:)

If you have TV out. you got to try it.

The newer versions are better. Tho in my opnion a little slower.
You can always set it up in a diffrent location instead of overwriting in case you dont like the performance.
Naomi version will not play dreamcast games just fyi

Finally got it to work! Thanks :) Btw I know this has nothing to do with the wrappers but does anyone know why during the splash screen the background it black and all you can see is the orange circle? Also On some games I get a :Not supported by main board" My guess is those games require the bios of their region.

Can you give a more detailed description on setting this up using the Setup Wizard?

The fact you only see certain graphics may be due to your hardware.(videocard) it is may or my not support pixelshader 2 / drivers.

The game not supported by mainboard could point to emulator bios or inaccurate emulation.
Naomi emulation is very much in its infancy.

LingPanda,
Sorry man I really dont use the setup wizard much (No offence HK :) I just have an old habit of doing things the old way.

Use the advance config and goto an emulator. Click the import config button and point it the file you downloaded from this thread.
Then edit the paths so they match where your emulator and roms are.

Then take the loader and kill exe downloaded from the first post and place those files in the same directory as the emulator.

Then launch a game from gameex.

Make sure your games are loading prior to trying to use loader.

:)
