As one having to deal with a parent afflicted with dementia, knowing that such a beautiful mind and talent was laid to waste by this disease is heart breaking. I thought he was already no longer with us, until recently when I was researching something and saw he was still around. This is so sad for me. 2 icons of my youth gone in one month.
