OK, I am a l.ittle confused here as your post is titled "my tables wont launch from pinball fx" but your first post indicates visual pinball. You have two other posts open, one regarding Visual Pinball with plunger issues using a keyboard.

My friend, as we have already discussed and advised, you really need to take it one issue at a time, get it resolved, then open a new thread for the next issue. It is no wonder nothing is working right for you because you are taking a shotgun approach and trying to hit is all at once.

I don't know where or how I am failing to get this point across to you. We are here to help, but you got to meet us half way and follow our lead when we make a suggestion on how to approch these issues you are having.

Trust me, I understand how precious time can be with work, family, etc. It is just better to get it right one thing at a time. I have been there trying to get everything done at once, and it has only tripped me up everytime. Only when I took a breath and focused on one thing at a time did it really start to come together. Not as fast as I wanted, but I was more satisfied in the end with the results.

It is possible. I do not use them yet but will venture in that direction eventually. I am sure that others that use them may be able to assist you better than I will at this time.

You don't have too many. You have your VP8 assigned to a name "C:\Visual Pinball" and your VP9.21 assigned to a name "C:\Visual Pinball". Those are invalid names. You need to use something like "Visual Pinball 8" and "Visual Pinball 9.21" and then, of course, you have to have the proper tables that you want to run with VP8 included in the xml file (or Game Manager), the proper tables that you want to run with VP9.21 included in the xml for that system, and so on...

Read this. It's not exactly up-to-date with the latest features but it at least explains how to set up the databases.

What you may need to do is download a list of the tables you have and sort alphabetically and make sure that the tables are numbered in the grid exactly in the order that they appear in the list of TPA starting with Addams Family as 1, and then go from there. I have attached a copy of my TPA .xml file to use as a base as I have every table for seasons 1-4.

Pinball Arcade.xml

You can probably use the same file, just selectively disable any tables you do not have and be sure to adjust your numbering respectively.
