Then, if I go to an emulator (any except MAME), select a game, then back out before playing it the logos all change from their appropriate ones (Nintendo, Steam, etc.) to the "GameExOnline" one. The only thing that appears to fix this is to select the MAME grouping, select a game, then back out before playing it. This seems like a glitch. nullPointer Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Sure. I've noted below my GameEx.ini. Since GameEx doesn't crash I didn't post my crash log. Thanks for posting your ini. Your GameEx log isn't a "crash log" per se and will often indicate other non critical issues that occur at run time (like possibly what the deal is with image caching issues). That's why it's still helpful information to see. Honestly that might be the most informative file to look at in terms of troubleshooting. The verification log from the Setup Wizard is also (somewhat) useful, but there are actually a plethora of factors that can cause false positives in the verification output. Long story short, we probably need to take a look at what is happening at run time which can only be seen in your GameEx log. Thanks again! Your log shows that you're on 14.20 whereas the current release version is 14.32. The functionality for GameEx Online has received some significant updates in the meantime, so my first piece of advice is to download the most recent version from here, and run an in-place update (your settings will remain unaffected). This may not be turn out to be the magical silver bullet, but it will ensure that you are completely up to date with any current bug fixes. Your system is certainly capable of having this option switched off...It may have no influence on logo's, but it sure does look similar in symptoms, and with capable systems, turning this option off will often result in much more rapid showing of media.To test it you can either load the Setup Wizard> Tweaks/Performance> Snap Best Match, and change it to No,OROpen GameEx.ini and find:UseSnapBestMatch=trueChange to:UseSnapBestMatch=falseThen File> Save, or CTRL+S on keyboard.
