[RESOLVED] Houston we have a problem. Neewbie cant even start Gameex

I just did a new install and paid for a years registration. I am completely new to this. I have a pc with 4 Gig RAM and I have a ASUS Micro ATX A88xm-Plus with a AMD A6-5400K APU. So no video card. Ikeep getting this error.

Two things to try:

Don't run GameEx Lite. Does it work now?

Also maybe try a different theme so you can rule that out as well.

I tried a different theme (default) and I tried regular Gameex.

You have a GPU (embedded video card if you will) so I would recommend that you ensure that you have the latest video drivers from your mobo's website.

I have a HP laptop with an AMD APU, and have found the drivers at AMD website most beneficial when experiencing issues with the GPU. If the motherboard driver listed is current, albeit dated, I would at least consider trying the AMD reference driver. It has bailed me out on more than one occasion. Also a word of caution, when you use the reference driver, you will note windows update pointing you to a driver update, which is actually an older driver, check this to be sure your situation is the same as mine has been, and if so hide that from your update list or ignore it, else you're going to have more problems.

Thanks all for your help. It was in fact the drivers. TThurman gave the perfect advice as Windows did in fact overwrite the video drivers during an update recently. This place rocks!!
