Gameex and Sega Saturn Emulation

Hello All,

This is my pretty much my first post and I apologize in advance if anything is wrong with it.

I just wanted to share a command line I was able to figure out that helped me a ton for sega saturn emulation.

I found ssf was not working with me so I got the latest version of Yabause. After using the built in setup in Gameex I used the following command line:

Yabause.exe -f -i "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

What this does is autoloads your bin/iso etc file.

You still need to setup Yabause first and make sure the game works outside Gameex before saying their is a issue.

Just wanted to share this with everyone and if you have any suggestions/feedback improvements to add to this i'd love to hear them.

I have yet to really test it but found a lot of frustration using SSF. I just couldn't get it to work and it seemed outdated. The fact Yabause is still being built made me turn to it. I've tested a few things but have not formed a thought about it. I've been sick and so has the wife so apologizes for the delay in response. Hopefully I'll be well in next few days and be able to test more. I've luckily got most of my personal build done and I'm working on fine tuning right now.

SSF may be outdated but its still regarded as one of if not the best Saturn Emulator out there. I have problems with SSF atm myself but I did have it working perfectly at one point so I'm sure its just me being dumb. Its just a bit more complicated that most emulators to get running right. Hope you feel better btw.

I didn't think SSF was too bad to get up and running... But I only play one regions games.

/my 2c

I was meaning more along the lines of needing something like Daemon Tools Lite or other similar ISO mounting software to mount your ISOs. And yeah it starts getting more complicated when you're playing multi region games on 1 setup through GameEx. I'm gonna end up making like 3 Saturn emulator slots for each region and then group them all together.
