The games appear properly in other lists such as GameEx Favorites. I have a backup of my GameEx folder from June which does not have this problem if I copy it over. The games launch fine from this backup version using Mame .154. However, the problem with the Neo Geo list becoming empty occurs if I allow it to update. Does anyone know of a solution? nullPointer Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Hi tandafan, and Welcome to the GameEx forums!Just for the sake of clarity, are you also experiencing the issue in which your MAME list doesn't list anything past CarnEvil? Or is it simply that your Neo Geo games are not being listed? If it's just the Neo Geo games that aren't listing please try turning off the Verify ROMs setting found on the MAME Settings screen in the Setup Wizard (and update your MAME list after doing so). GameEx runs mame.exe to verify ROMs by default and apparently some MAME builds report Neo-Geo games as being bad.If your issue is something else entirely, some combination of the above, or if the suggested fix doesn't help the matter, please post your applicable support files, and we can investigate the matter further. I did a bit more research. The first line below from my old gamelist.txt works, but the second one from my newest updated gamelist.txt doesn't. Perhaps this is related to the Neo Geo multi-slot changes in Mame .154?
