connorsdad
I see some people are having issues with the latest version so before I update I'd like to backup my pbx installation. What files get updated with the latest version ?Or is there a 1.85 version somewhere that I could go back to if needs be ?Thanks
randr
No need to go back. But i always save a setup.exe of pinballx just incase even though Tom is great at supporting a bug fix.If you want(and i suggest you do) backup database folder and cfg folder and your settings will always be safe! i always right click on these folders and add to archive for safe keeping after i do a table update. I also use clonezilla and keep a image of complete hard drive just incase! I sure wouldn't want to start over incase of a hardware failure! rockyrocket
Yep I agree with rander`s words above.Sometimes if an install is just about to get a major update, be it PinballX or what ever I will copy the whole thing into a back-up folder for example PinballX and PinballX-old.This saved my bacon sunday with LEDblinky. Itchigo
What about just naming it media1 and replacing the folders if you're really worried?
