Ok, just installed an aimtrak and am having very wierd issues with gameex. I have the aimtrak set to act as a joystick, not a mouse. In my gameex settings I have mouse turned on. My settings for gameex control is set to only work with my u360 joystick #1.
When GameEx is open, my joystick controls the list, but if I lift up the lightgun, the list begins to scroll as well. The problem is, when I then point the gun down, the list perpetually scrolls down and the interface is unusable. I thought setting the interface just to work with a specific device would correct this but it doesn't. Help!
Thanks
Mike

How is the light gun working outside of GameEx?

That's the odd thing, I have gameex set to work ONLY with my u360 joystick in the input settings. That's what's odd. Gun works fine out of gameex.

Actually, even though the settings say to use only joystick #3, all my joysticks and gun control the front end scrolling.
Under joystick input, if I take out up down left and right, nothing works.

Ok, I changed my gun to work as a mouse instead of a joystick and although it still scrolls the menu in GameEx, if it's not pointed at the screen, everything works fine. Still not sure why the input selection isn't working but no matter.

A question if you don't mind.. .are you using the gun to control the menu selections or just when playing a compatible game? I would think if the latter, you will probably have the gun "holstered" where it shouldn't be an issue. Since it is using IR and an LED bar as opposed to a motion sensor, this shouldn't be a problem.

Ya now that its set to emulate a mouse it's no problem when holstered. The problem was when I had it emulate a joystick, even when holstered, the menu would scroll uncontrollably.
