Sorry if this has been covered, but my cursory search was not revealing.

I have game-ex set up in a MAME machine which works awesome. I was wondering if there was a way to lock the layout the way I have it. My kids and their friends love to play and I think its cool for them to experience the old school stuff but the layout and other things often get changed and some of the little ones have a can get lost in the layout options and have a hard time getting back to the game list itself.

Thanks

K

There are several ways to do this. One might be to enable multiple logons. You could assign them their own logon, complete with a simplified theme and limited menu options (removing change view, shut down, etc. from their access). The logons can be password protected so that they do not get into yours with your custom settings.

Disabling features such as change view, etc. take place within the Setup Wizard.

Thanks. I may just set it all up from the setup wizard as I haven't changed the view in 2 years
