Please export your emulator config so I can see how you have it setup now. From your GameEx.ini that you posted before, it seems that you had it mounting twice. From the launch before and in the command-line. So I would really like to see this file to troubleshoot and narrow things down.

Interesting. Thx for pointing that out Frequency. I wonder if my .ini file has the "launch before" and "launch after" info even tho I cleared it in the setup wizard. I'll post the current .ini as well as the SSF config file tonight when I get home...

Sounds good. Seems you been trying to get this going for awhile now. If you want, we can meet in chat later on for real-time support.

Looks right to me...

When you try running a game, does GameEx pop up a dialog box? Also, if you run in Windowed Mode, can you watch My Computer and make sure it's mounting a disc?

When I run a game, GameEx doesn't pop any kind of msg. It just acts like it's trying 2 load the game. When I've got GamEx running in a window, I can see that SSF is being invoked right away and it gives an error msg. Looking at the virtual drive, no image is mounted. Since SSF is launched so quickly, I don't think GameEx is trying 2 mount the disk.

Do you have any physical cd/dvd drives on this machine?

Actually, I don't. I plug in a USB drive whenever I need one. The PC is dedicated to the arcade machine and is not easily accessible. And currently, I only have the one virtual drive installed.

That would explain why the device is set to 0. That's good then. I'll be in chat now if you wanna try troubleshooting.

GameEx behavior for me is that the game pops up a loading box much like the one that comes up when it loads databases for about 3 seconds. Gotta be something in the hook.

I would try completely uninstalling DT Lite and then reinstalling it again and see if that works for you. Or best option is to meet Freq and let him figure it out. :)

Log in Adultery! I can't get ahold of Tom at the moment so we can figure out the details of how dtlite is required for GameEx users.

Frequency, I'm back online now. We were out running errands so I wasn't at my computer to chat. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'm in the chat room if u happen to come online in the next hour or so.

Resolved by fRequEnCy!

Turns out gamepimp needed to use this in the command line instead: SSF.EXE [-VIRTUALDRIVE-].

Nice work fReq! ;)

Other users had luck with different command-line so we'll probably have to get together to figure out the exact details that are needed to use the new integration in GameEx.

I don't need to do it that way for the record. On my rig it's like this:

SSF.EXE [VIRTUALDRIVE]:\
