As i said, the roms start when i load them via psx directly, so i think they must be ok. I didnt blame the emulator for the slowdowns, i'm pretty sure its my system. I have the asus e35m1-i deluxe, 1.6ghz dualcore and hd6310 graphics, both onboard plus 2gb ram. But why should i bother with setting up an emulator when my system isnt strong enough? I could try and set it up untill gameex starts the roms and maybe i can fix the problems with the sound, but even then i couldnt play them properly so why should i invest my time? And for psx vs epsxe: this is funny. I tried epsxe first and it didnt worked with gameex. I searched for a solution and the most Common answer i read was "try psx, it works much better than epsxe".

I converted a bin to cdz and deleted bin and cue, i still get the same error. Never mind! The games aren't running well at all, sound glitches, slow downs etc. I'll stick with the classic pre playstation consoles. There are still enough games to play. Anyway, thanks for your help.

I tried the romfilter. I tried *.bin and *.bin;*.img because i have images in both formats but now the games list is empty.

Commandline: Psxfin.exe -f "[rompath\romfile]" I didnt change anything. How can i start the bin in gameex?

I installed psx v1.13 and it is working fine when i start the emulater directly and load the cd images but when i start it via gameex i get a message about cue file not working. Are there any special settings i have to set? I just downloaded the emu, i didnt change anything.

Do i have to do this anytime i add roms?

I choosed the wrong path for super nes roms when i installed gameex. I changed the path and added another system. I also disabled gameex arcade but the changes dont have any effect. Hide update list is set to 'no' but i cant find this option in gameex for emulated games.

Setting the left analog stick for up/down/left/right worked so the issue must be the d-pad.

Hi, I tried to use a PS3 Controller with GameEx but when I start the frontend it reacts like i keep holding the down button. I calibrated the gamepad and set just the d-pad for up/down/left/right but it still doesn't work. Is this a known issue? How can I fix this?

It worked fine but since i have mame on my machine since months i thought there must be an update. So i searched and found the newest version 0.144. I downloaded the self extracting binary and copied the files over the old mame version (after i did a backup of this folder). It looks like it is running fine. I can start mame and it says version 0.144 but when i try to start the game i get the message that some rom or chd files are missing. Then i extracted the binary in a new folder and copied just the old mame.ini since there was none in the new folder, but i did get the same error. Does the newer mame version need other files than the older one? Another question: I use clrmamepro and generated a profile by pointing to the mame.exe. I set up the rom folder and then dropped the downloaded rom archive on the rebuilder. After that i had 13 different games in mame and only 2 of them are working. Every other rom brings the same error message in both versions. I guess thats because clrmamepro made wrong romsets, but why?

Hi, i just set up mame and added one game to try it. I started gameex and it took some time to load. Now it seems that i have the complete list of mame games in gameex. Obviously i cant start them since i don't actually have the roms. Why does gameex list all these games?

At this time only nintendo and sega consoles and handhelds. I think filtering the dat file at dat-o-matic for english and german only gives me pretty exactly what i want.

I just downloaded and tried dat workshop pro, but i can't figure out how to edit an existing dat file and i can't find any manuals or documentations about this programm.
