  1. Thank you Tom. I was able to record that DMD video but when I went to record a second, the video came out very small and was not even a part of the dmd. It looked like it recorded a tiny region of the playfield. I deleted the video and tried it again but got the same result. The log I captured before restarting my computer shows it recorded a 64x64 video which sounds about right after viewing the video. I captured that log and am sharing here along with the video. After I restarted my computer, it recorded OK again. Hopefully the log will help you pinpoint the issue for future releases. log.txt Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Data East ) 1.1.mp4
  2. The recording feature was recording the DMD screen for a while but for some reason it stopped working when I record a table. The backglass and table still record, just not the DMD. If i click to do a mass record of all tables, the DMD check box is unchecked. If I check the box and continue, it still skips the DMD for some reason. If I select a single table to record but tell it to not over-write existing videos (table video and backglass video already exist), it goes to record and exits real fast like it doesn't even start recording. The robotic voice does say it is recording right before it exits back to the Game List Manager. I tried PBX recorder and it still records the DMD but I thought maybe there is something I can do to get this working in PBX again. Not sure if they are of any use, but I attached some log files. 3. No, I've opened the few I have installed several times now. Inside and outside of PinballX.
  4. One more point. If I load a VP table, the icon appears. If I exit that table then open a FP table the icon disappears. If I then go back into the menu and select a VP table again, the icon does not appear. So it seems like the issue only happens on the first VP table I load when I open PinballX. This is clearly not a deal breaker, just kind of strange that it happens at all. I'd like to figure it out but I guess I'll be able to live with it if not. Thanks for any continued help.
  5. Yeah this really has me scratching my head over here. I disabled the topper like you said but the icon still pops up. It seems to appear when I launch a Visual Pinball X table. I don't get it when I launch a Future Pinball table. It also only happens when they are launched from PinballX. Below is a video I just shot showing when the icon appears. Try to ignore the weird noises in the background, just my son being a teenager, LOL.
  6. OK, maybe I spoke too soon. Still seeing that Icon. I do have PinballX in the root of C and it is set to run as admin. Attached are the files you mentioned. Not really sure what else to look at. It only shows up after running PinballX. It doesn't appear when I run a VPx table standalone. Weird. log.txt PinballX.ini
  7. Thanks for the help you guys. I had gone thru setting everything to run in admin mode when I first installed everything but for some reason I neglected to set PinballX also. After setting it as admin, its running great now and no login icon. @captaincroutons, I got the 7" on Amazon for $58. https://www.amazon.com/Lancevon-Computer-Monitor-display-raspberry/dp/B06XQJVXHL Its nothing special but it does the job.
  8. Noob to virtual pinball here although not new to emulation. Been a member of GameEx for about ten years or so. I'm setting things up and everything is working really well. I am however experiencing a weird issue with this user account icon that keeps showing up on my third monitor in the dmd area I set up in Pinballx. The icon does not show up when I'm testing VPx apart from pinballx. It only appears when I've launched a table from Pinballx. I'm running a third monitor on a 7 inch lcd via a usb adapter. In the process of building a mini. My graphics adapter (onboard) only supports two screens thus the usb adapter. I know most are using a better graphics card with their setups but I was curious before I drop (another) couple hundred dollars on a different GPU if this is something anyone else has seen before and if there is an easy fix to get rid of it. I think it has something to do with running the programs in admin mode but figured I would ask first before I go on a wild goose chase trying to figure it out. The icon appears shortly after starting a table in PinballX and doesn't go away until after I've exited PinballX and started any other unrelated program. Below are a couple images. Keep in mind, I've only just begun setting things up.
  9. It only took me a month to respond but I wanted to let you know, it does still work, and works really well. Just wanted to say thanks.
  10. Anyone know if this utility still works?
  11. I know I'm late to the party but I just discovered your randomizer. I can't test it out here at work but I see a potential use for it if it could randomize between a small set of folders. This would be awesome. Not sure how you feel about it but I know it would fill a void for some other users... http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?2741-jukebox_main_menu(ACE-04-04-09)&p=346929&viewfull=1#post346929 I bet this would be a big help for Evo too once it comes out, if of course it doesn't have some sort of randomization built in already.
  12. Awesome, thanks kaze. I knew it would be something simple like that, I'll give it a shot when I get the chance.
  13. Headkaze, just wanted to say thanks on a solid program you wrote. I know its been out a while but finally got around to downloading it last night. I installed it and had my own control panel laid out including graphics in a couple hours and used the export batch feature so I could display control panels without having CP viewer running (low system specs, need as much free ram as I can get). My question is, and you've probably already answered this to death but I haven't seen it yet so I'll ask again, is how do I display only the control panel when I pause and not display the ugly mame bezel on vertical games? I'm at work and can't play around with it right now but last night when I messed with it, when I turned off bezel, it also turned off the cp png when paused. Do I just need to edit the mame bezel and make it all black to "hide it", or is there something I'm missing. I never have been a fan of the name mame and like windows, I try to hide any traces of it on my cab. I don't like to explain things, I just want people to get on the cab and play and not have to explain to people what mame stands for and all that. Thanks jthompson
  14. Q. Why did Spock have his head in the toilet? A. He was looking for the captain's log.
