  1. Thanks guys. This is so weird, but I plugged in my monitor and mame worked fine, as expected, and then when I plugged my lcd tv back in, mame works now! Who knows?? Either way, it works now, so thanks!
  2. MAME does not work outside of gameex. Gameex itself works perfectly. When I try to open a rom in mame, it tries to change resolutions and then an error message comes up saying this program had to shut down. I can't post my ini or log because my arcade isn't online anymore. I haven't changed any settings from when it was working perfectly. All I did was connect it to a TV instead of my computer monitor. All my other emulators work fine!
  3. Hey guys! I finally have my arcade nearly finished, and I have all of the stuff only PC loaded up and working perfectly. Well, I connected to my LED TV to run the computer using VGA cable, and gameex and all my emulators work fine except for MAME, which crashes every time I load a rom. Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. So... I feel stupid, but IT WORKS NOW! I am so excited and relieved. Thank you guys so much. I disabled advanced mame and it all works. Thanks!
  5. So if I disable advanced mame, it should take care of the problem? Is it trying to use both programs, and since I don't have advance mame, it's just stopping before a rom can be played? I think I had advanced mame disabled before, and only enabled it to see if I could fix this problem. I'll try it out and post my results!
  6. Looks like I put the entire message in the spoiler tag...whoops!
  7. Tom, thanks for responding. I can't get a mame game to play through the integrated mame. It acts like it's going to play, minimizes and tries to go to the mame emulator, then goes immediately back to gameex, or says "file not supported" or something like that, even though I can play it on mame outside of gameex. i put the ini file in the tag because my last post someone got annoyed with me for posting it in the text body and told me to post it in the tags... Seems like I can never even get my post in order enough to get some help! i can post the ini later... Thanks!
  8. Hey! I have tried for weeks for get this all worked out and I'm stumped. I have the most updated gameex and MAME versions. I can get MAME to work outside of gameex, AND I can also get it working as an emulator inside gameex, but for the life of me I cannot get Integrated MAME to work... I would have just settled for emulator MAME, but all the rom titles are all wacky. I have updated the list of roms, and I've read every forum post for help but I am out of ideas. I"m sure it's probably just an easy fix, but I'm pulling my hair out over this. Thanks for the help!
  9. I'm sorry for the headache! Thank you for taking the time to offer help! I will look into what you have suggested. To relieve some of your migraine, I have resolved some of my issues (I can now successfully work several emulators, but I'm still working on MAME). Thanks! I will get back with some more problems I'm sure.
  10. Thanks for the reply! So let's start with Sega Genesis emulation using Fusion. I can play the games outside of gameex, but it just goes to a black screen with a changing number at the bottom of the screen (60 or 59.9 or something). Here's the file for my fusion:
  11. Hello! Please excuse my ignorance, but I have tried for the past couple of weeks to figure this out by reading the forums and I cannot figure this out. I have installed gameex, and several emulators, and I have roms for most of them (not all yet), but the only emulator I can get to work is N64. The roms are in compressed rar format, which shouldn't be a problem for the emulator to play, right? I can't get MAME or Mess to even open, it says it has to be configured or something. And yes, I have already checked all of the basic things, like making sure the paths are correct. I can open the roms with most of the emulators outside of gameex, but not by using it. Also, the snes emulator I downloaded through the emulator downloader doesn't work even outside of gameex... One other question. I have downloaded emumovies download service utility, but everytime I try to log in, it says, "login failed", even though I can log into the website without any problems!! I am about to go crazy. Thanks for your help. I have attached my log verify file here.
