  1. I've read about the hyperspin ready sets and it seems that they are generally compromised from several different sources (using trurip as a base). Unfortunately, the purist side of me (read OCD) would prefer to have my rom sets from one source. Also I'm aware that the hyperlist XMLs are far from complete and are currently undergoing some revision. To this end I'd rather just download a 'complete' rom set as it's much easier to update, and avoids having to rename the roms.
  2. I was hoping to avoid renaming the trurip sets as it makes it harder to maintain them when the new torrents become available. I'm in the process of downloading some trurip stuff so I'll see how it goes.
  3. Thanks nullPoiinter! I'll look into acquiring some Redump sets until Trurip are officially supported..
  4. Hi all, I have obtained No-intro rom sets for all cartridge based systems and they are working great with GameEx so far. I am currently just deciding on what sets to get for CD based systems and have been circling the Trurip sets. Can anyone tell me whether these are compatible with the GamEx databases? Thanks in advance!

    GameEx Evo

Hey guys, I'm new to GameEx but have recently registered and am liking all of the features and easy customisation options etc. I understand that there are some exciting developments due for gameEx this year and I am just hoping to confirm whether il be able to transfer my current gameex settings once GameEx Evo drops? The reason I ask is that I don't want to get too deep into setting up emus etc if all this will all be lost once I upgrade. Anyways, glad to be a part of the community, and look forward to getting more acquainted with this awesome front end.
