  1. That would explain it. I was referring to a loading video. So currently, only static images are supported for loading screens? Is there a size or type that's preferred? I wanted to use the graphic that was the theme for my machine. Obviously gifs don't work here either. Any future plans for implementing that/those? Thanks for responding!
  2. So I'm getting pretty close to being fully set up with pbx and I have been trying lots of things to get my loading video to work. The only answer I've found here is to use one that's supported mp4 or f4v. I removed the original loading image and tried a gif first to no avail, but then created an entirely new video in Sony Vegas. I tried the mp4 first and then converted it to f4v and neither video would load. It's just a black screen. The videos run for both the table and the backglass. They run outside of pbx also. Just as a test I renamed it Loading as well to prevent any naming errors. It's placed in the loading image folder as well. I'm running Win7 64 with Shark codecs installed. Any ideas?
  3. ^^^I thought so maybe too, but if I recall correctly one of the two previous ones I tried to load was just bare bones characters. The good news is I found a work around. At least for now. I thought wellllll, heck with it, I'll delete the listing I tried to make again and download a media pack. Clicked on import and bam. Loaded up and afterwards I could load the table slot and replace the images. How bout that for weird? Same files, it just wouldn't accept them to begin with. Hrmph.
  4. I've done a bit more research....it happened on two tables in a row on my list. The next one - it didn't. So I continued to build my database and all has been going well......until.....I just tried to add T2 Chrome and it did the same thing. It wont accept any images for the table. There has GOT to be some kind of link between these files that I can't get. I"m going to try fiddling with naming, but I doubt that will do any good. Regardless, there IS something that this database doesn't like. I just haven't found it yet. I'm the only one with this problem? If so, then I'll keep trudging and testing.
  5. I've been diligently setting up tables and downloading things I've been missing. Db2s files have escaped me til now. Regardless, I've set up approximately 25 or so tables and have about 60 total in my xml and it has stopped "accepting" images. If I click the dropdown and choose an image file or a video it doesn't update the database - the missing files- or the xml itself. I've tried reloading the table from scratch and uninstalling and reinstalling the program. Same behaviour. Anyone know what might cause it? I was going to work all weekend and now I'm stuck!
  6. ^^^can you give me an example of what you're looking for? The program I used has a list, so I can tell you if they're on there. The oldest two on the list are Grand Lizard and High Speed which were in 1986.
  7. Tried it last night and I can't swear it was the fix, but removing the 64 did the trick on my machine. Just a heads up for anyone in the future. May or may not have been my fix, but regardless, I have a 64 bit system and the 32 shark install works fine. Thanks for the idea Z!
  8. Thx for the info and I DID install the 64s, so maybe that was it. I'll try swapping back this evening sans 64 and report about the result.

  12. You're right, and I'd happily contribute, except it says "you cannot upload a file" EDIT DOH! I was in the wrong spot.....Got it! Thank you!
  13. I imagine it's related to codecs, but I tried the shark codecs and after they crashed, tried klite. It wouldn't even play them. The first table to come up will play with shark and then as you browse through it will get worse until it finally locks. Static images work fine. Win 7 64 bit. Any ideas? Should I try a different format? What are you guys finding that works well? The same f4v files? As a side note- THANK you for this fantastic front end! It's SOOOOO much easier to use and after having a fully working Hyperpin frontend, the crossover was seamless! All I want is a bit more bling and I'll be a happy camper. Contribution incoming after I get paid! It has really made things simple.
  14. This is a great idea! I'm currently working on ripping sound files directly from the roms. It's sad that sound cloud has a limit like that, but I realize they have to make money somehow. Perhaps when I have a full library, I'll find a hosting solution. For now though, I couldn't see anywhere that I could add to your list?
