  1. yes, it works this way, thank you now I have a nearly perfect (some audios are missing ) list and evrything looks nice. i hope this single file bug(?) will be fixed in the future
  2. ok, I had two problems - one of which I could solve now. 1. problem I can not change any wheels or playfields anymore. it wont save or even recognized by gamemanager when I try to chose some files. NOT SOLVED 2. the TNG Wheel and Audio which appears everywhere it shouldn't SOLVED - I think because I deleted this line below the table somehow both ".png" and ".mp3" was created and saved in Wheel and Audio folder. Now I deleted those two files.
  3. now i tried deleting the VP xml in Database. all tables are gone. after that I added some. but the third of them had TNG soung (but it was Congo). then I treid to attach the right audio (which is definately there) with no success... TNG keeps playing. then I deinstalled pinballX and reinstalled it (1.85). the two demo tables look like this: (without even touching the game manager) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krzHFMGPUCU one thing I remember: before all was going totaly mad I deleted the Line in GameManager below the table by backspace it was weird before (I couldn't save the wheel and audio which I have now everywhere) but after that it went crazy
  4. i deleted ALL games from the list (via manager) - with no success... I will search for "the" xml. my files are named differently (whatever I typed in). f.e. I rip some sound and do an audio from that. is it wrong to name it like I want it to name? can this cause such problems? I tell the manager where to find it and what it is. so it should work I think?
  5. I deleted all the "TNG" tables in the gamemanager, but no real files. is it posible to reset the gamelist? delete a listfile to start from scratch?
  6. Hi there! I've got a new problem. I tried to change a Wheel and an audio several times. it was never saved and the old crappy wheel was still there and no audio was playing. now I was able to change both and was asked to save the list after that. But when I startet PinballX I realized that the audio was playing all the time and the wheel is used by several tables (I did NOT assign it to those tables...) when I try to attach a new audio to a table which is playing the wrong audio this is not saved... Is my list broken? what can I attach, so you can have a look? I think this is no issue with ini and log file, right? EDIT: perhaps this video can help :/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6enU4UTc2E
  7. yes, sorry, I didn't realise it is Tom itself who will have a look never wanted to rush someone! after several tries and no success I made it now. but still without a clue, what was wrong. After de- and reinstalling both VPinMAME and PinballX, now everything is fine again I just have to setup every table and position the dmds again. but after that everything is good!
  8. still have this problem. can someone have a look at those ini and log files?
  9. ok, here is the log an the ini file I hope someone can find the error. I will search in the settings... but I didn't change anything since first setup... besides installing new tables with the game manager (which is great) of course log.txt PinballX.ini
  10. Hi there! I just installed a new system and I use VP 9.9.0. and PinballX at first everything went fine, but two days ago suddenly the DMD was gone. it worked some days before without a problem. when I uninstall VPinMAME and start the tables in VP everything is fine. I have to move and stretch the DMD and it stays there after reloading the table via VP. But when I start the table in PinballX the DMD is visible for perhaps 1-2 seconds showing things like loading bars and such - and then it is gone. when I hit Alt&Tab I can see the DMD Window, but when I select it, the PF and BG are shown with no DMD when I start the table (after using PX) again in VP the DMD is still not there. I have to uninstall VPinMAME and reinstall it to get the DMD again. I can post the pinballX.ini later, just have to get to my Pinball PC I run Windows7 64bit on an i5 8GB and a GTX650Ti 2GB files should be unlocked, run as admin and the compatibility mode is set to NT4.0 as described in the VP Tutorial. Perhaps someone knows, what is wrong? PS: SAM tables are not affected...
  11. Hi! Just wanted to mention a few videos I made. the third is about PinballX, while the series is about Virtual Pinball and the installation of all the software and hardwaretoys. Thanks to Tom Speirs for the software and Slashbot for the Intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miHlyVtzKqM
  12. What about another Media option "Tutorial Video" which can be played on the backglass? Since there are quite some videos on the FTP and perhaps even more on Youtube etc. This could be a nice thing to add. If it is already implemented never mind this post. I just haven't found it yet.
  13. Hi! I have used the sheller, but since then i have this dialog in front of the FE i dont have a password so i only have to klick OK, but this windows shouldnt appear... so now i want to change something in my system to get rid of it, but when i leave the FE i only see black (of course ) in the description is said that there is an UNDO BUTTON, but how can i click this undo???
  14. hi! the problem with GE is in my Bartop in which i use a normal PC 31Hz 17" VGA Monitor (CRC?) in my Nova Big Screen Cab i use an arcade monitor with a JPAC and onboard VGA with no problems
  15. I dont think this was funny I will get a better card then. But propably not for 60$ I am surprised - that Game EX does not run with a TNT2 though... What are those Arcade VGA Cards? They are not better right?
