  1. I bought a C02 cab from them in '05. I didn't have any problems with them.
  2. If anyone needs help compiling MAME, check out Mr. Do's step-by-step instructions. It's nice to not have to rely on someone else to get the latest "u" release. Now I can just do it myself. http://www.mameworld.net/mrdo/compile.html
  3. I think a coin counter would be a really cool idea. Also I think it's a bad idea to NOT do something just because a few idiots may use it a wrong way.
  4. I always noticed that my game preview movies, which are MNG, the sound and video would always go out of sync... I'm not sure which update did it, but it's fixed now! Thanks Tom!
  5. Wow, lots of great new updates today! I love the "not played list" idea. I can't wait to try it out! Thanks!!
  6. I added pacman to my "Don't Filter" roms list and updated and... it's there now! I always wondered why Pac-Man wasn't showing up... Thanks again!
  7. Sweet! Thanks a lot, I'll try it.
  8. The CPS3 games aren't showing up on my GameEx, too. Only SF3: 3rd Strike. But I'm doing the same as you... I'm just going to wait for 0.117. I think that will fix it. SF3 should hold me over 'til then. While we're on the subject of games that aren't displaying, I could never get the original Pac-Man to show up in GameEx without showing all of the clones. I usually use the display setting "No Clones Unless Better" because I don't like all of the clutter. With this setting Pac Man Plus shows up but not the original. I'm guessing there's probably not, but is there a way to show it without showing ALL of the clones?
  9. Ok, I found a way to fix it but another small bug has popped up. When I turn on the option to allow other emulators for the screensaver, that's when it plays games outside of my favorites list. But when I don't allow other emulators for the screensaver it's works great. Most of my favorites are MAME anyway so it's no big deal.
  10. Just a minor bug that I've found with 8.22... When I set the screensaver to play only my favorite games it will still play any random MAME game. That last version I had, 8.20, the play only favorites option worked perfectly.
  11. Paying a small fee to register THE best front end out there was easy decision. Without a doubt, it's a great deal.
  12. Wow, THAT was fast! It's working great now! Thanks!
  13. Hi, thanks for helping me. MUCH appreciated! I'm using the lastest & official version of MAME. Windows command line version. I'm also using the lastest GameEx, history.dat, & mameinfo.dat. 14. I really like the series info on the screen for each game... But I'm having some trouble getting it to work right. I updated my gamelist, the series info appears on the screen, but I don't think it's right. Every game that has series info always displays the game "(Medal) Yumefuda [bET]" From Street Fighter to Metal Slug... That game shows up in every series... I've updated my gameslist about 4 times already and still the same results. I've also tried erasing gamelist.txt and it's still the same. Does anyone have a clue what it could be? Here's a screenshot of what I see on most game screens...
  15. I was wondering if it's possible to use a combination of buttons as an input. For instance, I want to use buttons X and E to enable the ingame CP viewer instead of just X. One more question... I was wondering if it's possible to use 2 different keys to do the same thing. I have key 1 as my SELECT button but I also want key 7 as another SELECT button. Thanks in advanced for any replies! -Billy B.
