hey tom, i just updated to the newest gameex version.
i ran attract mode for ca. an hour and suddenly i got a error message. because of gameexhideos i couldn|t copy the error message, but at least i made a screen shot... any idea what this is?

so it seems to be a problem with the rom. pretty weird since i use a complete romset... how can i check for faulty roms in my collection?

ClearMamePro (CMP). I'm sure you know this, but your mame version also needs to match your roms version.

yeah i just tried clrmamepro and it looked like a bigger fix so i just decided to give it a fresh start with 0137 and wiped everything

To me I would think that's a bigger fix to start new unless you had those roms on file. Either way you'll still have to update your roms unless your using 0.137 version of MAME to match.

Its a little hard to tell. You said you were running screeensaver, but that log does not appear to be from the screensaver?

If it was running the screensaver as you say, it look like an app didnt close properly, and GamEex could not reinitialize the display system. Its basically failing reinitializing the display system.

If it happens again, please provider the full log from the session.

The error was probably caused by an earlier game, but the screensaver just exited when it couldnt load the game listed.

It looks like it screwed up when drawing an album cover or visualization, possibly because visualboyadvance caused problems. The rest was just waiting to happen if you get my meaning!

I think its a one off hopefully. let me know if it persists.

Ive put some exception checking round the code for the next release. It looks like an issue with visualizations, or else visual boy advanced caused a conflict.
