Just wondering how I should set up PS1 games to show up properly in GameEx. I have my PS1 images each in separate folders. I have GameEx pointed to the main folder, with all games in subfolders under the main one. Some games are bin/cue images, and others are single ISO's. Should I dump everything into a single folder, or how should I do it so that each game shows up properly in the GameEx list? Also, how do I configure multi-disc games to show (and work) properly?

BTW, I use ePSXe v1.70

Thanks.

Rom Filter: *.cue
Scan Sub folders: Yes
Merge Sets: Yes

And you're done. That's all there is to it, as long as you keep things set up the way you described.

Thanks for the quick reply. How do I set up the filter to also see iso's? I.E. what is the separator in the Rom filter field? A semicolon, such as *.cue;*.iso ?

Thanks.

You hit the nail on the head. It is, in fact, a semicolon.

*.cue;*.iso

i'm curious myself about the 'multi-disc' thing.

what happens if i were ever to get to the end of disk 1 of a three disk game and get the 'please insert disk 2' screen?

any thoughts?

There are several older topics on this. There was an effort to combine these games into multi-game discs, but I'm not sure how successful that was. As I recall, HK was planning on writing an All-In-One Loader of some kind that would help with this situation. I don't recall if it was ever posted or not though. You might try searching for one of the older threads to see if there are any secrets there.
